Karen Barr, President, and CEO of the Investment Adviser Association (IAA) joined us to discuss the SEC's Staff FAQ on an adviser’s fiduciary duty when considering factors relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the selection or recommendation of other investment advisers. Karen also discussed the outlook for regulation and legislation supporting industry inclusion and how IDiF community leaders might effectively contribute to the decision-making process. This session was moderated by Theresa Hamacher, President of Versanture Consulting, Board Chair of Morningstar Funds Trust, and IDiF Advisory Committee leader.
